Sowing Good Seeds

        Lately, I got interested in collecting seeds. Everytime I make green juice, I always keep the seeds of the fruits because I don't want to waste them. I always have this wild imagination that someday I will have my own farm with all those fruit-bearing trees being planted in there. But then a question came into my mind. How will a farmer know that he is planting good seeds? And if so, will it guarantee him a good harvest? 

        We are like the farmer and the seeds are like our attitude toward others. We know when we are planting good seeds when we are following God's way. If we show kindness to others it will surely come back to us. We don't need to be perfect to do good unto others because no one is perfect but only God. We only need a willing heart . 

       Galatians 6:7 ESV "Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap."

Amazing Love

Think about His love.

Think about His goodness.

         God loves us more than we ever know. If you think He doesn't love us or doesn't care at all because of all the trials that we are experiencing in our lives then know that by the air we breathe alone, He is already showing us how much He loves us. 

         Only God's love can fill an empty heart. I don't know if how many of you will agree but this is true to me. His love filled my heart so that I can love others too. Isn't that amazing?

         So let us radiate God's love. Show other people how much God loves you. Let others see Him in you by the way you live and by the way you talk.

         Spread God's love today.

The Mountains In Life

        Everyone of us has his/her own problems in life, may it be small or big. Those mountains in life that we called trials seems too unbearable sometimes. We tend to focus on our problem so much that we forget to ask God for any help. Oftentimes, we try to find our own solutions to our problems instead of leaning on to God. We always lay down to Him the answer we want for our problems.

        Only God knows what's best for us. As His children, we need to fully trust in Him. We need to have a strong faith in Him not just in time of trials but all the time because He is always faithful to us.

        One of the song that always reminds me to keep trusting in Him is entitled "Faithful and True." The chorus of the song goes like this:

                   "My Lord You're faithful and true
                    When everything round me gives way
                    Faithful and true to lead me from day to day
                    My Lord You're faithful and true
                    You answer whenever I pray
                    There's one thing I know, wherever I go
                    You're faithful and true."


         Thank you Lord for this sweet reminder.

Like A Butterfly

I couldn't think of any insect that interests me other than butterfly. I love its vibrant colors. And I love the fact that it helps the pollination of plants.

Sometimes, I compare myself like a monarch butterfly who migrate over long distances. Yes, I came here in Hong Kong all the way from the Philippines. That's a million miles away. But when I think of it, I can't help but thank God for this opportunity to come here. I can say my faith grow deeper in Him and like the butterfly, my life became vibrant in His eyes.

I Got Love Like An Ocean

Out of God's many creations, ocean is one of my favorite. The vastness of it reminds me of God's great love. It brings comfort to my inner soul. It teaches me to remain calm whatever the situation may be. It makes me sing..."I got LOVE like an ocean."

A New Beginning

God's creation never cease to amaze me. These tiny plants are starting to sprout from the leaves. It's just so amazing seeing them grow everyday. Beautiful, just plain beautiful.

There's something about sunset that I Iove. There's so much beauty in it to absorb. It is such a great opportunity to marvel at God's greatness which other's left unnoticed. It reminds me to be thankful to Him for another day that He added into my life and to think of what tomorrow will bring.
